Car Smash
On September 8th 2007, the ASSA held their 1st Annual Homecoming Carnival. The Apprentice School Jaycees held a “Car Smash” to raise money for their operations. Ross Auto Parts donated a 1990 Oldsmobile 98. Several Apprentices helped paint the Apprentice School and Jaycees logos along with several Trades targets. At $2 a swing, players used bats, golf clubs and a sledge hammer to “remodel” the car. Even the Builder’s Mascot got in on the action! The Jaycees were able to raise over $230 for the event.
