2010 Apprentice Cardboard Boat Regatta raised $2,258 for Shriners Hospitals for Children

The 2010 Apprentice Cardboard Boat Regatta raised $2,258 for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Ten boats competed in single oarsman and multiple oarsmen races. The event, sponsored by The Apprentice Student Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), was held in August at Newport News Park. The check was presented to Khedive Shrine at the 61st Oyster Bowl Game held at the Apprentice Athletic Field on November 13th.
